Protection and Growth

Things seem to be getting back on track. Tomatoes are setting in and things seem like they may make it.

DISASTER!

Well, to one of us it seemed like a good idea to put a 'shade' cover over the new plants to ' protect' them from the direct Sun.

Seems like things got too hot and the 'matters that had been nurtured since March were scorched!

A quick trip to the local garden store (one of us thinks that was the way to go from the beginning / the other swears violence if the subject is brought up again), and we were up and running again!

It was a lot of work to move all that dirt!

March 27th. Three pine boxes. One 8' X 8', and two 4' X 8'. Planning on adding three yards of 'Mark's Mix' to this. It's a blend of soil and composted mushroom bedding. We'll see!
